The Armed Forces Institute of Pathology, known as AFIP,
offers a renowned program in the area of radiologic pathology. Every
year, hundreds of residents across the country take part in this
extensive six-week long program. The course in housed at Walter Reed
Army Medical Center. The ACR has created a unique AFIP housing database
that residents can use when planning their six-weeks in Washington, D.C.
The database allows individuals to search for roommates, determine
which part of D.C. they want to stay in for the duration of the program,
which rental properties allow pets and children, and much more. In
addition, past AFIP participants will be able to rate their living
arrangements using a five-star rating system.
