About RFS

How Do I Get Involved:
  • Spread the word
Most of the work of the RFS and the ACR is educating radiologists, radiation oncologists and medical physicists about work of the organization and encouraging them to support the organization that best represents their professional interests. Consider giving a presentation at your training program about the ACR. Contact a RFS Executive Committee member for some ideas.

  • Get involved locally
The ACR has chapters in each of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and Canada. Contact a chapter leader to find out about resident activities, meetings and volunteer opportunities. Contact the ACR Office of Chapter and Volunteer Development at (703) 648-8998 or chapters@acr.org to identify your chapter leaders.

  • Attend the RFS annual meeting
Click Here for upcoming meeting details.

  • Volunteer on a RFS Committee
The RFS has a few standing and ad hoc committees that work on various projects throughout the year. Contact a RFS Executive Committee member to discuss your interests.

  • Volunteer on an ACR Commission or Committee
The College has many groups working on various projects and issues and many welcome members in training as members. Contact the ACR Office of Chapter and Volunteer Development at (703) 648-8998 or chapters@acr.org to volunteer.
