J.T. Rutherford Government Relations Fellowship — Call for Applications
Applications are due May 15 for the prestigious J.T. Rutherford Government Relations Fellowship. Residents may apply for one of six fellowships offered; final decisions will be made in early June 2007.

The Rutherford fellowship helps residents understand the state and federal legislative and regulatory processes and the ACR's role in them. Residents learn about the important roles the government plays in shaping the future of radiology. The one-week program includes a history of the ACR's congressional activities and the ways the ACR's government relations initiatives impact other College activities.

Selected individuals will complete their fellowships at different times during the 2007-2008 academic year; therefore, residents are required to be training in a residency program during the appointment.

Visit the RFS Web site to download an application. For additional information on the J.T. Rutherford Government Relations Fellowship, please contact Melody Ballesteros at mballesteros@acr.org.

We encourage you to visit the forum today and become active in an ongoing dialogue with your peers about the issues that matter to you most while in training.
